Recommendation*
Tension: Due to their higher tension the Evah Pirazzi strings can compete with steel core strings and other synthetic core strings. If you do not have any experience with the tension of strings then a too bright sound might be an indication that your instrument cannot cope with the tension of the strings. In this case, please try the Obligato strings, which have a lower tension than Evah Pirazzi strings.
Usage of Evah Pirazzi, Obligato and Violino strings
After changing strings, the bridge might be slightly displaced or shifted toward the scroll so that the new string set might not sound as good as it could. Some accessory companies offer a “string lifter”. This device helps the musician to lift all off the strings up in order to move the bridge back into its correct position. If you do not have such a device you can also slightly tune down all four strings and then move the bridge towards tailpiece until the position of the
bridge is perpendicular to the top and tune the strings back to pitch again.
