Pirastro Obligato double bass strings (2)

Description

Pirastro Obligato strings for 3/4 double (upright) bass. The two highest strings are included: D, and G. No E or A string is included.
I bought these strings to improve pizz response on my bass, and they did that very well. The strings are bright and have a good sustain with great volume. But I also bow, and the arco response was very bright and a poor match to my E and A strings. I finally settled on Evah Pirazzi instead of obligato. These two are both made by Pirastro and both use a polymer core instead of steel, and they play quite similarly, but the Obligatos are brighter and that wasn't what I wanted.
These strings spent less than a week on my bass.
