1950's poster (my guesstimate, could be older)
featuring, in thick gold relief offset printing,
the
Eiffel Tower
this poster comes in it's original wood/glass frame. i have never taken the poster out of the frame, the back of the frame is nailed shut with at least 50 little nails.
the size of the poster and the frame is approx.: 20 X 26 inches
there is some minor moisture staining to the side and bottom of the poster (as shown in photo's)
no visible chips or tears or repairs
these are two visible horizontal pieces of paper on the bottom and top in front of the poster, these appear not to be attached to the poster, they could either be be very old tape or strips of paper.
a beautiful and exeptionaly rare poster, i have been collecting Paris related antiques for years and this is by one of the best pieces i own, i could not even find an image of the poster anywhere or another one for sale anywhere
i love this poster more that anything else, so i don't mind
not
selling it. the poster looks great exactly where it is but if you love it more than i do, it can be your's,
price is firm
the frame is very heavy and solid and weighs about ten pounds
